Have you experienced the frustration of visiting a beautiful location, taking dozens, if not hundreds of shots so you can relive the beauty of the place every time you look at your photos? Except when you get them home and look at them, all you really have is a record that you were there.

You just haven't been able to catch that special "thing", the essence of the place that made it so special?

I know exactly how you feel because until last year I was exactly the same as you. I thought,

? Why can some people visit the same location as me and come back with a photograph that is simply awe inspiring?

? What do they know that I don't?

? Do they have fancy equipment and filters, or is their technique?

Erik Gunzel is a leading Landscape Photographer who has perfected a simple but very powerful technique for teaching passionate photographers how to take Landscape Photographs. He taught me and I'm proud to say I have had some wonderful success with my photography since then.

How a frustrated amateur photographer uncovered the secret to take outstanding landscape photographs and then went on to win a photography competition just one month later.

That frustrated amateur photographer was me. Let me tell you a story and why I am so grateful that I met Erik Gunzel and how you can easily get results like me.

I’m an ecologist and I work in some of the most beautiful areas of Australia. Every time I head out into the bush I take my camera with me. It is one of my greatest ambitions to take beautiful photographs of the natural areas I visit, areas that very few people get to see. I want to capture the beauty of the Australian landscape and inspire other people to get out and explore as well.

After a field trip, I would sort through the hundreds of photographs I had taken, and only a few of them would go even close to capturing the beauty of the area I had just visited. Talk about frustrating.

I had done a couple of courses in the past and had a basic understanding of how my camera worked and how to take a good photo, but something was always missing.

Does this sound familiar?

Why can photographers like Erik visit the same place as me and come home with something awe inspiring while I come home with something that is really just a record that I have been there?

How does he do it?

I walk to Maitland Bay every week. It’s only 20 minutes walk through the bush from my home. I’ve taken dozens of photos of Maitland Bay at different times of the day. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world, yet I could never capture that beauty.

There on the gallery wall were photographs of Maitland Bay that stopped me dead in my tracks. He had captured what I could see but had never been able to capture myself.

That was it. I made it my mission to track down Erik and learn his secrets. I wanted to be as good as him! It turned out we live in the same little town. It also turned out that I wasn’t the first person to seek him out to learn from.

As well as being an incredibly talented photographer, Erik’s also a really nice guy who is passionate about sharing his love of photography. Erik has taught photography for years and over that time has developed a very simple but powerful system to teach Landscape Photography.

He even went that one step further and created a home study course for people who couldn’t make it to his “on location” classes. This is the course you have the opportunity to own today.

I bought this course and methodically worked through all of the lessons, did the exercises and lost count of how many times I viewed the video. I discovered what it was that I was missing. Erik covered the basics of using my camera (and in a much clearer way than I had ever been taught before) but the thing he taught me which I had never learnt before, was how to see.
